Spring Starts Up for Tasmanian Entrepreneurs
Tasmanian entrepreneurs, innovators and startups will be celebrated as Startup Tasmania hosts its third year of Startup Spring, a three-week long national festival celebrating technology, startups and entrepreneurship.
The Minister for Information Technology and Innovation, the Hon Michael Ferguson MP, launched Startup Spring 2015 last night at a function in Parliament House, noting the importance of Startup Tasmania providing a platform for meaningful and practical connections for entrepreneurs, through education, support and collaboration opportunities.
“This year is the biggest program we’ve run, the diversity of events is a key feature,” said James Riggall, President of Startup Tasmania.

Read moreThe Sharing Economy – Revolution or Evolution for Tasmania?
The discomfort being felt by some sectors of the Tasmanian business community about the emergence of the sharing economy is curious.
