Startup Ladies Soup Salon

“All the startup ladies, all the business ladies…” Taking a leaf from Beyonce, Startup Tasmania has an official galpreneur group that meets on the 3rd Monday of every month. We are all for the ladies, and no matter what age or stage of life you are at, from teen to nannapreneur, you are welcome. The Startup Ladies Soup Salon is an informal gathering, we recreate the community feel of the kitchen table, and rather than networking as such, the group shares information about their businesses, and uses the wisdom of the participants to troubleshoot and sort out issues people are having.

The beauty of relaxed diversity of a tasty bowl of home-cooked soup is that no matter what you want to know to help kick your business along, someone will have the answer. All sessions are facilitated (and catered for) by Miss Polly, Startup Tasmania’s resident spokesmodel and girl power source. Feel free to bring (and wrangle) your kidlets if you need to, the group has lots of mumpreneurs, and we totally get how hard it is to find time for business advice when you are managing a family and a startup.

Startup Ladies Soup Salon is a welcoming community. We don’t have cliques, we aren’t exclusive, we are here for all women who want to have support, advice, a good laff, and meet some other women starting out on the road to their business. Come along and play!
