The In-Memory OLTP engine (codename Hekaton) in SQL Server 2014 provides new memory-optimised objects to deliver massive improvements in performance and processing time. This session provides an introduction to the In Memory OLTP engine and covers the changes in administrating memory-optimised objects from the DBA perspective, including schema changes, maintenance, point-in-time recovery and capacity planning.
