Reactivate Tasmania tonight

This month we're doing something a little different; we're combining with the Reactivate Launceston group to focus on local innovation.

If you're not familiar with Reactivate Launceston they're a really interesting group that's formed organically formed to bring together interesting groups and people, to drive for positive change in Launceston.

They've been particularly interested in the CBD and public spaces, so James Riggall will be talking about the Macquarie House Innovation Hub, and the positive impacts this facility could have on the CBD and beyond.

Troy Merritt will be chatting about the Innovation Circle, a 'hackerspace' collaboration between local tech companiesBitlink, Definium Technologies and QVMAG @ Inveresk.

There'll also be a preview of MAKER, a documentary on the maker movement that Startup Tasmania is excited to bring to Tasmania; we think a lot of you will be interested!

Come along for a drink, chat with Startup Tas regulars, and meet innovators outside the tech community.
